
PredaSAR announced onĀ Wednesday that Mike Moran, former vice president of space strategies at Peraton, has joined theĀ small satellite data provider as chief operating officer.
āMike has an incredible background and has built, launched, and operated some of our nationās most important satellite systems,”Ā said PredaSAR CEO Roger Teague.Ā “Heās led teams whoāve delivered small satellite technologies, created innovative SAR capabilities, and developed integrated space strategies.ā
At Peraton, Moran directed the growth strategy for the companyās Air Force space portfolio and shaped its broader space and cyber strategy within the defense and intelligence community markets.
He previously workedĀ at Harris Corp. as executive director of government solutions.Ā His military career included leadershipĀ of theĀ Space Development and Test Wing atĀ Kirtland AF Base in New Mexico and service within AF Space Command, the National Reconnaissance Office, DoD and NATO.
Moran holds aĀ Certified Information Systems System Security Professional designation from (ISC)2 and Program Management Professional certification with the Project Management Institute.
